the kids

So I haven't been on in awhile, but i just had to give an update on these kids. So one day I was working with this same little boy again and he looked at me and said, "I act like a girl". So i reply "well you don't have to act like a girl if you don't want to." He proceeds to look me in my face and tell me " I act like a girl cause I wanna be a girl, I'm a diva". UMMMMMMMM WHAT!?!? How do you respond to that???(I'll wait for u to try and figure it out) YOU DON'T. So I looked at him and said "well ok lets finish our cutting and pasting". Man these kids are something else.

Can't get enough of these kids

So the other day I went to tutor my kids again. Normally I have a little girl but she had to leave early again on this day so I got paired with this little boy. (sn: all the kids, with the exception of one, that I work with are in kindergatren, ranging in age from 4-5) So these kids are always doin something outrageous. While we were workin on a word search, after we finished his homework & out of no where, in the most girly voice, with the most girly mannerisms this 5 year old boy starts to say, & repeat a number of times, ' Uh uh girlfriend. Cause I'ma go get my hair done & my nails done, & my toes done, cause im nicki minaj.' PAUSE!!!! SAY WHAT?!?! What do u listen to at home?!?! u definitely should not be repeating it. But still it was by far one of the funniest moments tutoring thus far.

the kids

So i went to go mentor some kids the other day. My age group is kindergarten 4 or 5 year olds. So I had this little boy the other day, cause my normal little girl had to leave early. So this little boy was 4 and the cutest little thing, with the biggest personality and attitude. So the little boy sits at the table and says "you have to call my sir since I have to call you miss. ok?". Little boy say what!?!? Nah I'll pass.
 -Guess you gotta love the kids.

puppy infatuation

Every time I see you my heart skips a beat
regardless of how it sounds I want you in my sheets
when I go to bed alone I long for your body heat
pressed up against me while I drift to sleep

and i never thought someone could have such a hold on me
and make me realize that they are where I wanna be
so I guess this is congrats to you cause you did just that
I just hope I never have to regret that you are where my heart is at

new year!

so a new school year is here, oh what fun. I swear summer ended 2 fast but I guess that's life when half your summer is spent @ school anyway. Looking forward 2 a great year though. Can't wait 2 see what's in store for me!

ALMOST DONE

UGH! it's about that time again. Knocking out these damn finals. Teachers give us study guides 3 days before the exam and expect me to know all the shit on it..
yeah right lets be real.
one by one I am killing them so I'm not even gonna sweat it.
But still

AND WE WRITE

So it’s come to my attention that people say I can write. On numerous occasions I’ve been told to write a book then I sit there and think to myself. WHAT IN THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE I SUPPOSE TO WRITE ABOUT?

You see people come up with great ideas for you then don’t help the idea process. But its all good. because and idea finally hit me. so yes people I am writing a book.. coming soon to a Barnes&Nobel near you!

Says Who

so I have a story to tell that doesn't necessarily pertaining to me
it's on a touchy subject some call sexuality
now Webster's says sexuality is: the expression of sexual receptivity
or interest especially when excessive
so what does that even mean..
but most say it's determined by who your interested in
which brings us to a crossroads of where to begin
I take in all the information & digest it
but then what am i left with
an uncertain answer that gets us no where
why is that???
because sexuality is a sociological concept used to limit and judge our abilities
some classify it as gay, straight, or bi
but i prefer the term socially unlabeled
whatever i choose to pursue in a room closed off to you
has absolutely nothing to do with you.
why should society have the right to judge you by their fictional label
who or what determines that one thing is right over the other
where do the standards come from that make this so true
then again i ask myself... who the hell cares
you are who you are and that's how it is
sexuality doesn't determine your character but in society it does
but then again to hell with society
cause their just a bunch of undercover, undecided, unaware, closet cases themselves
to closed off from reality like bubble boy blue
so leave them there and i say
live and let live and be true
as long as your true to you, all other cares fail to exist
and that makes you a better you.
