Observation

Im intrigued and enticed

and orange tick-tacs are my only vice

like how a person named ____ is my current muse

and how i feel the need to abuse

my bank account to buy all the latest, fliest, sickest, illest shoes

and dismiss all those who refuse to follow the rules

and fail to meet the guidelines and standards I approve

dont get me wrong i am NOT judging you

but i think that there is a lot upon which you can improve

now thats a mere suggestion, but really what do you have to lose

the reward is greater than the sacrifice

but please feel no pressure, cause these are just my views

cause you win some and you lose

and ultimately in the end your still you.

APPROVED

It never occurred to me
to get in tune with the inner me
to search within myself
and find out who I'm meant to be
I realized I live according to the rules
inside of the box that society has approved
but what fun is it to always follow the rules?
to live your life under the status of "APPROVED"
seems pretty dull on my end
so here is where i bend the rules
color outside the lines
run with scissors
and cut to the front of the line
life needs excitement but under the standards set by you
So reach for the stars
and come back with the moon
who says its wrong
this is life approved by you
